Executive Leadership
Corey Walz serves as Managing Partner of Walz Kraft. He is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations and management of the company. Additionally, he handles investor relations and capital markets structuring for all property acquistions in the portfolio.
Prior to forming Walz Kraft, Corey acted as the Director of Acquisitions at Alliance Consolidated Group of Companies. During his tenure the group placed $50,000,000 throughout the United States, consistently generating investment yield at 5% above benchmark investment alternatives. Featured tenants represented by Corey include United Healthcare, HCA Healthcare, JoAnn Fabric, Fresenius Dialysis, US Renal Care, DaVita Dialysis, Outpatient Imaging Affiliates, and a multitude of medical specialists/private investors. Mr. Walz received degrees in both International Business and Marketing with a minor in Spanish Language and Culture from the University of Oklahoma graduating with honors and as a member of the Phi Beta Delta Honor Society recognizing academic achievement in international business. Additionally, Mr. Walz holds a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate Finance from Cornell University, is a member in good standing on the National Council of Exchangors, and is a Licensed Real Estate Managing Broker in Illinois. He currently serves or has served as Finance Chairperson on the University of Oklahoma Alumni Club of Chicago, Finance Advisor to the Beta Theta Pi Chapter at Loyola Chicago, Trustee and Secretary of the Beta Theta Pi Alumni Association of Chicago, Treasurer of the Associate Board of Gateway for Cancer Research, and Chairperson of the Admissions Committee for the University Club of Chicago. Most important to Corey, he is married to the love of his life, Rachel (also a graduate of the University of Oklahoma), and is the loving father of two anarchists often and confusingly referred to as "our children" by his wife. |
Collin Kraft serves as Partner of Walz Kraft and is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and managing medical real estate acquisition opportunities throughout the country. Mr. Kraft has coordinated the divestment, acquisition, and structuring of over 500,000 square feet of net leased properties throughout his career. Featured tenants represented by Collin include the American Institute of Plastic Surgery, SNG Dialysis, Pediatrics in Brevard, North Texas OBGYN, Summit Spine and Pain Centers, ImageCare Centers, Dental Associates P.C., the Eye Clinic P.C., Haywood Eye and Vision Care, Atlanta Autism Centers, and others.
Kraft previously served as Director of Acquisitions for Alliance Consolidated Group of Companies, a firm that acquires and manages a broad portfolio of over $350 million in medical office properties. While serving in this role, he excelled in both traditional medical office acquisitions as well as the structuring of sale-leaseback opportunities for physician groups. Kraft began his career as a broker with Marcus & Millichap, specializing in the disposition and acquisition of net leased properties, successfully representing landlords across 15 states as well as structuring portfolio sale-leasebacks for some of the nation’s largest quick service restaurant franchisees. During his tenure, he also worked with a spectrum of clients including REITs, individual investors, private equity funds, and developers. Kraft received his General Business degree in Economics, Marketing, and Communication from the University of North Texas. He is a member of Real Professionals Network Chicago and is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in Illinois. |

Stephen R. Schuster is a partner at Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella, P.C. and represents Walz Kraft on all real estate matters. Steve is a member of the firm's Real Estate and Corporate groups. He has represented clients in transactions involving nearly every aspect of the real estate business, including acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, development, construction, municipal incentives and entitlements, joint ventures, and finance. He has also represented clients in connection with entity formation and operations as well as merger and acquisition transactions.
Steve has worked with and on behalf of numerous Burke Warren clients across all practice disciplines, including governmental entities, private equity and individual developers, operating businesses, real estate funds, institutional investors, lenders, general contractors, and family offices. |
Diego Ledesma

Diego Ledesma is an associate at Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella, P.C. and represents Walz Kraft on all real estate matters. Diego is a member of the firm's Real Estate and Government & Regulatory practice groups. His practice concentrates on representing clients in transactions involving various aspects of the real estate industry including acquisitions and dispositions, development, leasing, construction, municipal incentives and entitlements. In representing real estate acquisitions, Diego's due diligence duties include title and survey review and ensuring compliance with various municipal, county and state land use and zoning requirements. He has experience representing landlords in drafting general office, medical office, industrial, and retail leases.
Prior to joining the firm, Diego ran his own solo practice in real estate assisting clients in the successful sale and purchase of homes throughout the Chicagoland area. |
